In your own country/community, try to observe and describe the peace situation. Answer the following questions:

      •   How does a particular conflict or peace issue affect the different aspects of the community?
      •   Who are the most vulnerable in these situations?
      •   Who are the possible actors in the community that can help solve the conflict?
      •   How do you think grassroots approaches to peacebuilding will help in your community’s peace situation?

      1. As people of a community have diversity in their needs, natures, living styles’.. so a particular peace issue or a conflict might be adverse for some people while in the mean time it might seem to be acceptable to others in the same community.
2,3.As far as i think, the social workers, volunteers, different intellectual people can work together to resolve the issue among the community’s people.. And the law and order and different organizations working for peace, individuals efforts if started from changing the mentality of their own family can also help a lot.
4.According to the Social Work Degree Guide (n.d.), the grassroots approach, seems accurate to me if i consider it in my community context..!
as it can be used to solve the different conflicts, issues by allowing people to share their thoughts and then ending up on a most excellent consequence which is acceptable for all of the community’s members.
According to Kevan Yenerall (2017), “grassroots” or a grassroots movement, here i got convinced by the merging of local to international level organizations to resolve different conflicts to bring about peace..
I would highly appreciate the application of these approaches because there are many issues I’ve witnessed in my surroundings, people belonging to same society, religion, values have diversity in their beliefs..!! And apparently there are shown many developments happening in this matter, but in real everything is same as before. People even get murdered over minor arguments and there’s no action supposed to be taken against them. Convincing own family members can prove to be a good idea and if all these organizations work together and support the youth group volunteers there are numerous chances of a society to be a peaceful, enjoyable and easy going with each other by understanding their diverse natures..!

Who are the possible actors in the community that can help solve the conflict?
Those who have authority. They should conduct a seminar where they will discuss the sustainability and development of the community.

Conflicts or peace issues affect differently to other aspects because of the diversity of notions in my country.
Minority groups are the most vulnerable in my country. Kurds by nationality, Alevis by sect, labor workers by social class are the most vulnerable in my country.
Whereas politicians, the collaboration of the community is the most possible actors to solve the problems because most of the issues come from the conflict of society.

In a society, conflicts are diverse and target different categories of people. However, social conflicts caused by poverty are the most popular and include large groups.
Social inequalities and poverty are realities of any society, even if there are different degrees of manifestation.
Due to poverty, these people can have various disadvantages, such as unemployment, low incomes, poor living conditions, inadequate medical care and various barriers to access to lifelong education, culture, sports and recreation.
Reducing poverty-based vulnerabilities requires national involvement and appropriate state policies

How does a particular conflict or peace issue affect the different aspects of the community?
I´m living in a country that is in peace, but not equal for us all at the same time. Peace means for me also equality, because if you are not treated equal you will lack power and other forms of participating in society.

Who are the most vulnerable in these situations?
Refugees, women from migrant families and migrants. Why? Because of not understanding and speaking the language fluently they can´t participate in the same way we are participating in social life.

Who are the possible actors in the community that can help solve the conflict?
Actors are first of all politicians who are responsible for law and order and who have the power to finance programms helping others. But we are responsible for it as well – so everybody in the community can help others and support them with special needs.

How do you think grassroots approaches to peacebuilding will help in your community’s peace situation?
Grassroot approach is important because it focus on the participating aspect, which is also for me the most interesting one in that debate.

Diversity of social conflict has a lot of reasons. All these reasons have on roots the EDUCATION gain from society and family.

1- Lately In my community, we encountered a conflict between two cities about a lack which is normally under the observance of the government. The two families pretended that the lack is in his own land and he is the only one who could benefit from it. A conflict started and developed into violent actions.
2- the most vulnerable are people in between who they were affected by the conflict even though they are innocent.
3- The possible actors are the army , the government
4- Grassroots approaches are very important as they make things more easier and I think the best ones in this situation are dialogue and focus meetings
